Tips To Organize Your Move

When you are required to move all of the belongings to new place, you are going to find moving tips quite helpful in this regard. The process of moving can get overwhelming but it doesn’t mean that you are not going to have ease. After all, you will need to have some memories of the last days of old neighbor and first days of the new one. And you are not going to want those memories to be filled with a hassle of settling things in a frustration.

Make a list
It is important to make a list of everything before you pack even first of the boxes you have. Make a list of everything and write down the weight and space every item is going to take. You can write everything down or create a list in computer.

Get supplies
If you are going to pack for the moving, you are going to need a lot of packing supplies. You need to buy boxes more than what you need. If you are buying items from a moving company, you can return the unused boxes to get the refund. For different items, you are going to need different types of boxes. Make sure that you have at least 10 boxes in spare for the last moment because you never know what you are going to need to pack on immediate basis. Moreover, you are going to need a lot of packaging supplies which are meant to cushion the items in the boxes.

The wardrobe boxes
Although the wardrobe boxes do not appear to be much handy, they are actually quite beneficial in a lot of circumstances. For instance, you may need to pack the lightweight items which gather a lot of space; for example, pillows and clothes. Moreover, there are going to be the clothes that you want to be moved to the new home while being hung with the hangers. You are going to find wardrobe boxes pretty helpful in this regard.

Color tagging
One of the most helpful tasks in the entire packaging process is the color tagging of the boxes. This color tagging is going to let you know what box belongs to which room. To make things easier, you can attach a color matching sticker on the door of each room.

Make sure that items are placed where they belong to
It is important to keep everything closer to the ones belonging to like-types. For instance, you will want to keep bulbs closer to the lamps and cords closer to the appliances. This way, you are going to unpack everything with ease in the new home.

Pack ahead of time
Needless to say, you need to make sure that you have started packing your items well ahead of time. The reason it is important is that you are going to need everything done before the moving day. You don’t want the moving day to be stressful.

A Guide to Shipping Electronic Items

When it comes to shipping electronics, be sure to keep in mind that electronic items often contain many parts that are extremely small and fragile. While these parts may be contained in some sort of case, usually these cases are made of hard plastic that might break or dent easily if it is not properly packed during shipping. However, by familiarizing yourself with the best methods of shipping electronics and making sure that you have the correct shipping supplies, you will have a better chance of shipping your electronic items without risk of damage.

The first step to shipping an electronic item is to disassemble the item as much as you possibly can. For example, if you are shipping a printer you should remove the paper tray and any cords from the printer. Each of the pieces you separate should be put into separate labeled bags so that you do not mix them up. If your item contains knobs or other parts that you cannot remove, use extra bubble wrap to cover these pieces. You should also check to see if your item is hollow inside. If so, you should fill the hollow space with packing materials. If you are packing cords you should bundle them together and secure them with twist ties so as to minimize the amount of space they require. The next step is to pack the larger pieces of equipment. You should use two layers of bubble wrap so as to completely cover the item. Secure the wrap with a strong and durable packaging tape.

After you have disassembled the item and properly packaged the individual pieces, you can begin to pack them into a large box for shipment. Gather all appropriate shipping supplies such as packing peanuts and packaging tape. You should fill about half of the box with packing peanuts and then place the largest item in the box. Cover approximately one third of that item with additional packing peanuts. Now you can begin placing the additional electronic components in the box. Be sure to keep the items from touching each other. It is essential that you use packing peanuts for your electronic items. Do not try to substitute paper as it is not an efficient packing material for electronic items.

Once you have put all of your items in the box, fill the rest of it with packing peanuts. Following this step, close the box and gently shake it so as to determine if your items will move around. If they do move around, reposition your items and add more packing peanuts. After you have secured your items, you are ready to close the box and seal it with tape.

The final step is to place your original box into a second box that is about one to two inches larger. You should have a thin layer of packing peanuts in the new box before you place the original box inside it. After you have put the original box inside the new one, you should fill any empty space with additional packing peanuts. As before, you should check for any movement and repack the box if necessary. After completing this step, you are ready to close the box. You should be sure to seal it with plenty of tape so as to completely secure your package.

Bubble Envelopes: The Best way to Protect Shipping

One of the best things you can do when you get an item isn’t just the goodies, it’s the bubbles that come surrounding the object.  While you may use bubble wrap to create a void fill for some boxes, there are envelopes now that let you protect the items as they’re mailed. While you won't be able to pop these, they’re a better method for shipping objects in tinier boxes, so they stay in a single piece.

Bubble envelopes are a type of mailer for packaging that’s made to ship and protect items in a safe manner.

It consists of a polyethylene or paper layer, and then the inner layer that has bubbles that are air filled inside.

The bubbles in this are a barrier to cushion, which provides some shock absorption and then prevents damage to the contents during the transport process.

The mailers are used typically in office settings, ecommerce, and other places where you want secure, lightweight, and easy to use packaging. It isn’t just a suggestion, but instead a requirement that lots of people will definitely want to consider for their packaging needs.

The Advantages of This

Using bubble envelopes for shipping is good for a few reasons.

The first is the protective cushioning that’s there.

The interior parts of this is made up of some small bubbles that are air-filled. These are natural shock absorbers, so it protects the contents from possible damage during the transit process.

This is beneficial for fragile, delicate items including jewelry, electronics, even glassware.

The envelopes are flexible and lightweight, which in turn will lower the shipping costs.

This is especially good for long-distance or international shipments. This is because the weight does impact the expenses overall.

The flexibility of these bubble envelopes allows for packaging of different shapes and sizes, and it accommodates the irregularly-shaped and small objects. Versatility does eliminate the need for extra packaging, materials, and even boxes. This in turn saves money and time.

Choosing the Right Type of Bubble Mailer

You may wonder what the right type of bubble mailer to use is.

They do come in different sizes, shapes, and there are other options, so choosing the right one offers the best protection.

You want to initially consider the item size, so make sure that you measure the dimensions in an accurate manner. Choose an envelope that’s snug, since you don't want to have too much paper.

The item weight also does impact the type of bubble wrapping that’s needed. For lighter items, a standard bubble envelope will do, while the more fragile, heavier types of items will require some reinforced bubble mailer options, with extra padding, or a more rigid bubble mailer to offer better protection.

You want to make sure that you offer the right cushioning too. The envelopes come in different sizes, including small, medium, even large. They offer different levels of shock absorption. Fragile, even delicate items might require envelopes with a larger bubble, or even multiple layers of this wrap

Another thing to consider is shock absorption.  You want to make sure that you as well also get something that will have enough air pockets to create a cushioned layer. This is because the bubbles do absorb this, distributing the impacts, which protects the items within this.  The shock absorption is a huge part, and it does minimize the breakage.

Bubble mailers are a great way to aptly protect your items, and if you need something that’s strong and will deliver, a bubble mailer can be your best friend for the protection of goods.

Boxes for Clothing and luxury Products

One thing that fast fashion has started to get us indoctrinated in is that they usually use just a small plastic or even a paper bag that’s very sparse.

Some of the more high-end and medium level stores change this. Whether it’s clothing that’s designer, or accessories of all kinds, the boxes along with the packaging provide the brands a sort of business card that they will want to take advantage of, offering a surprise that makes busters happy and grateful.

Here are some good ideas for you to consider, and some options to bring high-end clothes and the like to consumers, enhancing the unboxing experience while bringing a whole bunch of different aspects to this.

Our first example is Gucci.  You’ve probably heard about this Italian brand, as they offer a style that’s unmistakable, while also being of the highest quality and the materials that get used to enhance not just the product, but this presentation too. Packaging is, of course, a major element to this.

Boxes with lids for example might be simple, but there is something unique about this. with plain colors and background patterns that aren’t mistaken in the least, along with a logo that’s visible and a bow used to close will shock the world and provide the best packaging.

This is something that’s great for those looking to use beautiful packaging, and really enhances the brand itself.

Then there is the channel, which is basically the competitor brand.  They are competitors in the world of fashion, perfumes, and a lot.  They focus on hitting the core.  Their products come in a white box without any marks, and there are small contours along the sides, along with their logo painted in black.  It’s simple, but it does offer a glamorous tone to the packaging that can’t be best.

Then there is Aldo, which is another company that’s mostly focused on different ideas that they took from the food sectors.  This is a company that sells neckties and various ties, but what they like to do is provide the tie or bow tie in a beautiful package, and a window that shows off the product itself.  This is a unique type of packaging, and really showcases that yes, the sky’s the limit when you start to look at some of the ways you can bring packaging to your world.

Motoluxe, which is a sportswear brand in Britain, does offer a unique spice to this, offering a box with straps that come in both greens and yellows, and also have a way for the logo to show up in different formats too. In a few cases, it’s not super straightforward on what’s inside, especially since it might contain fountain pens or underwear.  This is a unique, luxury packaging however that really shows off a chic, unique way to this, and a connotation that can’t be beaten.

Finally, we’ve got Stanteria, which is a unique type of packaging.  It’s different from other brands.  Stanteria is a clothing brand that provides some classic t-shirts that also are pretty fancy. The box is not just a great way to carry the products, but it also is almost like an accessory and fashion statement that goes beyond mere containment, as you can repurpose the product for this to be a lot more unique, and even use it for other various beauty products.

A lot of people do like to go to luxury, and these brands provide something unique to the table, offering a fun, great way for you to improve your unboxing experience as well.
